Sit down at Salon Salon and separate the folklore from the fact. A hands-on afternoon rooted in the real history and role of New Orleans Voodoo — followed by the chance to craft a doll of your own to take home. Includes one drink from a curated selection of wine, beer, and soft drinks.

Over two hours, learn what voodoo dolls actually are — and aren’t. New Orleans Voodoo draws from African, Indigenous, and European traditions, and this class traces that lineage honestly, without the misconceptions and myths sold to tourists. You’ll leave with the doll you made, and a real understanding of its place in the city’s spiritual history.
